(CNSNews.com) - Despite six federal obscenity laws currently on the books, illegal hardcore pornography is running rampant on cable television and the Internet -- and federal prosecutions are virtually nonexistent. That needs to change, says a group of researchers and anti-porn activists.
At a briefing held at the U.S. Capitol, researchers and activists, including a former porn movie actress, highlighted the finding of leading researchers on the harm and long-term effects that hardcore pornography has on its viewers -- especially children -- and called on Congress to make the Justice Department crack down on those who make and distribute illegal pornography.

Reclaiming the Family Mountain By Os Hillman
Playboy magazine ushered in a sexual revolution when the first issue came off the press in 1953. A new "anything goes" mindset was introduced when it came to sex. This gained more and more acceptance in the 60s and 70s during the Woodstock Generation and the Vietnam War. More and more people began living together and premarital sex was no longer considered taboo but actually an accepted practice. Near the turn of the century we began to see the gay lifestyle become legitimized in mainstream culture through two of the major mountains-Arts and Entertainment and Media. When actress Ellen DeGeneres kissed another woman on a national television sitcom in 1997 it became a tipping point in culture. This led to more open expression of gay themed movies like "Broke-Back Mountain" featuring two gay cowboys and the 2008 movie, "Milk", which honored the gay rights movement and one of its pioneers in a way that tried to legitimize it like the civil rights movement. Even kids were not immune to the new onslaught of the gay agenda when in October of 2007 the major character in the Harry Potter books and movies, Albus Dumbledore, master wizard and Headmaster of Hogwarts was revealed that he was gay. This is how the frog in the kettle gets hotter and hotter until we wake up one day and realize we have totally lost the culture and we have become a nation like Sodom and Gomorrah in which God had to destroy the entire city. Deception has taken root and become mainstream in the gay movement, convincing even church-goers that maybe people are actually born gay and we need to legitimize this way of living through government legislation, redefining marriage and legalizing same-sex marriage.

The Teen Phenomena It was born on October 12, 1944. For over 100 years, the phenomenon had evolved in gestational form. But the thing was born on October 12, 1944, when 30,000 frenzied, teenie-bopping girls descended upon Times Square to meet their new idol – Frank Sinatra! Writer Bruce Blevin described the scene as “a phenomenon of mass hysteria that is only seen two or three times in history.” It was The Teenager. In his book, Teenage, The Creation of Youth Culture, social commentator, Jon Savage chronicles this remarkable facet of modern culture, a paradigmatic anomaly very much unparalleled in prior human history.

PSYCHIC KIDS: CHILDREN OF THE PARANORMALBy Becky Fischer
It must be about two years ago that I first stumbled across the phenomenon in the New Age/psychic world about the generation of kids they define as Indigo children. If you have not heard anything about them, nor read my articles on them, I have an extensive message on them in our Lambs course that you can purchase and listen to in the Lambs CD Series #7 Without going into a lot of detail here, a certain group of psychics have identified a huge percentage of children in the Millennial Generation (born roughly between 1982 – 2001) as highly spiritual and unusually sensitive to the spirit-world and paranormal experiences. The reason I wrote about them was my frustration that Christians on the whole are not recognizing the spiritual capabilities of this same group of children and trying to train them for the REAL supernatural world of the kingdom of God.
